Hope Diamond - Limited Edition Print

Edition Size: 180
Artwork Size: 20 in x 20 in (50.8 cm x 50.8 cm)

Limited Edition print on canvas, Britto diamond dust embellishments. Hand signed, hologram and Certificate of Authenticity from Romero Britto’s Studio.

A lover of history and timeless works of art, Romero Britto honors the legendary Hope Diamond and its enduring beauty with this radiant print. First sold in 1668 by Jean-Baptiste Tavernier to King Louis XIV of France, the famed blue diamond was displayed at Versailles for distinguished guests before passing through noble families, including Henry Philip Hope in the 1830s, from whom it takes its name. In 1974, the diamond was donated by Harry Winston to the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C., where it resides today—its remarkable journey and mystique celebrated through Britto’s vibrant color, pattern, and shimmering diamond dust.
